I started this project on the 20th of March and posted a series of photos from the first half of the spin. I have the other half left to finish. The rolled batts are Shetland/Merino from @carol_fellviewfibres in the colorway Minas Morgul and the four nested batts were carded up by @longdrawjames. You may have seen this combination of batts before spun by James. We will be doing a weave along with our spins. We aren’t telling each other what we have planned other than we are going to do some sort of twill and that the Minas Morgul will be the warp and the green batts James made will be the weft. It’s going to be so much fun to see what we both do and how the pieces will compare to each other. So much green! ๐ #daedalusspinningwheels #daedalussparrow #SparrowSpinner #spinwithdaedalus #electricspinner #espinner #electricspinningwheel #spinningwheel #igspinnersinspiration #spinningyarn #igspinners #spinnersofinstagram #spinstagram #wemakeyarn #handspun #handspunyarn #handspunwool #handspunstagram #spinnersoftheworld #handspinnersofinstagram #handspinning #handspinner #handspinnersofig #fellviewfibres #weavealong #handspunweaving #weavingwithhandspun
