TdF Finale! I got a lot more accomplished for this year's TdF than anticipated. I had a blast spinning @fossilfibers's TdF Gradient on Dandillion the Starling V3FP. I finished the first braid and I'm about halfway through the second braid. I'm loving the way this gradient was set up and looking forward to seeing what they do next year. I always look forward to spinning up @threewatersfarm's TdF braids. I finished Just Riding Along and I'm about 1/3 through the Along the Water Braid on my Magpie V2. This year I added something new to my daily spinning. The Sunflower Fields spin by @fossilfibers on my @akerworks Mixy spindle is my mailbox spin. My driveway is about 300ft long so each day I walk down at least once a day and spin all the way down and back. This is something I'll continue to do and will be a great way to get some spindle spinning done. I finished up two of my advent spins on my Jenkins one from @hipstrings and the other from @inglenookfibers both from 2019. With these two finished it marks the halfway point of both advents. I also added two new wonderful Jenkins a Wren and Gooney both out of Spalted Madrone. It's been so nice getting to know these two spindles during TdF. SQUEEE a wonderful package arrived from @jenkinsspindles. Two new spindles arrived from Ed Jenkins! His spindles hold such a special place in my heart. The left is a Spalted Madrone Wren that only weighs 10.85 grams! It's so incredibly light and has such a lovely spin. The right is a Spalted Madrone Gooney which is a brand new style. It looks similar in profile to the Roadrunner which is flat size up but has a slightly longer arm and longer shaft. It's 17.37 grams and has an amazing spin.
