I adore spindles so much but it wasn't always that way! After I got my first spinning wheel I stopped spindle spinning as I didn't see a point to it anymore. It wasn't until I acquired my first @jenkinsspindles that I fell back in love with spindles and ever since then my spindle collection has grown and grown. I currently have 11 spindle works in progress and a variety of sample spinning. I always have at least a few spindle projects going that usually take up several spindles and love to take them wherever I go. Textiles - All the textiles you see in displayed were spindle spun and woven via backstrap by weavers of @centro_textiles_cusco. I am in complete awe over their spinning and weaving skills. They are a constant inspiration to me. Textiles were purchased through @abbysyarns and CTTC. Spindlemakers include @akerworks, @brewergnome, @carry.cherry, @classysquidfiberco, @jenkinsspindles, @jeribrock, and the pushkas were made by a maker in Peru purchased through @abbysyarns #abbysyarns #franquemontuniversity #andeanweaving #andeanbackstrap #backstrapweaving #peruvianspindle #pushka #chacchac #chajchaj #khaitu #Jenkinsspindles #turkishspindle #JenkinsTurkishSpindle #spindlespinning #spindlersofinstagram #akerworks #akerworks #jeribrockwoodworks #gnomewoodcreations #gnomespunyarn
