I’ve been slowly easing myself back into working on things. My first project of the year was this. I started plying it about two weeks ago. This is Stained Glass by @spottedewefibers on Camel/Silk 50/50. I carded it up into rolags and spun long draw for TdF 2020 and 2021 on my Starling XL. This will be the last project I work on with this Starling V3 that I’ve been fostering for promo photos. We’ll be sorting out how we will rehome this pretty blue bird soon so I have room for my next promo Starling. Color to be revealed soon! The spindle spun/handwoven manta displayed was made by Christina Ylla Ccallisea of Chahuaytire. Purchased through @centro_textiles_cusco. #igspinners #handspunyarn #handspinning #yarnspinners #spinnersofinstagram #handspinnersofig #yarnspinnersofinstagram #longdrawspinning #spinninglongdraw #woolenspinning #daedalusspinningwheels #daedalusstarling #electricspinningwheel
