I've been spinning this 4 oz of Easy to Spin Acala cotton dyed by @longdrawjames on both my Neon Green Sparrow Gir and my Falcon to get a better feel for the differences between these two wheels for spinning cotton. They are both wonderful for spinning cotton but I definitely prefer the Falcon as it has such a lighter feel to it as I spin allowing me to spin at speeds faster than what I feel comfortable spinning on the Sparrow. This is what I've finished on the Falcon and need to get a photo of my finished bobbin for the Sparrow. I've got one more 4 oz bump to go before I'm all out of hand dyed cotton from James. The spindle spun/handwoven manta displayed was made by Christina Ylla Ccallisea of Chahuaytire. Purchased through @centro_textiles_cusco. #longdrawjames #ashenflock #spinningcotton #cottonspinning #acalacotton #easytospincotton #cottonspiner #igspinnersinspiration #wemakeyarn #spinnersoftheworld #igspinners #handspunyarn #handspinning #yarnspinners #daedalusspinningwheels #daedalusfalcon
