Day 12-19 of the Woobly Wonderland 2023 Advent Calendar by The Woobles. I had to play catch up on my Woobles yet again. I ended up making four pieces yesterday and two today. Day 12 was the adorable little Star to place on the Christmas tree. Day 14 these adorable little mittens were a lot of fun! Day 15, I loved the embroidery work on this tiny drum. Day 16, I loved making the little nutcracker hat. Henri the frog looks quite snazzy with this hat! Day 17 was a cute little tiny wreath. This one was quite different to work on than the other projects since most use magic loops. Day 19, this little Elf was a bit tricky. I only had enough of the tan for two of the three face rows so I ended up undoing and using some tan I had left over from Toast the Shiba. Day 20 a cute little stocking! I’m feeling so much more confident with my crochet skills. Prior to the Advent, I had only crocheted two projects in my life Henri and Toast. I love how small each project is and how despite that there seems to always be something to learn from it. I’m feeling super comfy with the magic loop technique and I’m in awe over how many new kinds of stitches I’ve learned and feel comfortable working on without videos. Though I’ve been double checking on some things just to make sure. #learntocrochet #wooblesadventcalendar #woobles #crochetersofinstagram #amigurumi #crocheting

Day 7-11 of the Woobly Wonderland 2023 Advent Calendar by @thewoobles. I fell a bit behind on the photos but keeping up with all the little projects. Day 7 was an adorable little present. I loved getting to learn how to turn the magic loop into a box shape. I ended up adding a crochet chain for the ribbon instead of just the yarn. Day 8 was a tricky one! It’s a tiny Christmas ornament that has embroidered stitches. The embroidery made total sense but I was having a lot of trouble avoiding going through the yarn in the process. I ended up forgoing the tiny stars. Day 9 was another tricky one! The Gingerbread house was a lot of fun but I had a bit of difficulty with the seaming for the roof. I ended up making use of stitch markers to connect the roof to help get everything in alignment before seaming. Day 10 cracked me up sooo much!!! The tiny lump of coal was loads of fun but definitely needed to get a bit more light on the subject. Day 11 a cute little elf hat! I have to admit I kinda wanted to continue crocheting the red and turn it into a tiny cute little chili pepper. I loved the color change row. It was a bit tricky at first since it was so small but it’s a great technique to learn. Out of my two Woobles critters I’ve made so far I thought it was more fitting on Toast than on Henri hehe. Overall I’ve been having a blast with each of the projects. I love how much I’ve learned in each project and I’ve been enjoying the mix of small and big projects to make sure I don’t fall behind. Though I did fall a bit behind on photo editing but that’s ok! #thewoobles #thewooblesadvent2023 #learntocrochet #crochetersofinstagram #ilovecrochet
