A thread about how to mass download your Ravelry Library was shut down so I wanted to help spread the word on how to do this for anyone who wants to save all of their patterns both paid and free. I know I’ve been pretty quiet lately on the Ravelry upgrade issue front but rest assured I’m still keeping a close eye on the status of Ravelry’s upgrade and the functionality of my theme. I’ve been finding it difficult to continue spreading the word on the theme so I’d you are using my theme please pass the word on so we can make sure as many as possible can browse the site safely and comfortably. If anyone notices any issues with my theme that need addition please do not hesitate to reach out. I do have an minor update waiting but it’s only a few extremely minor adjustments so I’m waiting to push that update. Four years ago I received this magical spindle along with a small sample of 70/30 Cotton/Silk. Super fancy luscious fiber arrived to test out from @spottedewefibers. Becca is exploring custom blends and these are super luxurious!!!!! All of the fiber is high quality, beautifully blended, and the prep is top quality. I’m looking forward to spinning these up and seeing how these blends look when Becca dyed them up. The blends aren’t completely locked in yet. The Optim/Camel/Silk in particular is needing some percentage changes to help it hold together better. Overall I’m extremely impressed. My top two favorites are the two bottom braids. Day 14 of Tour de Fleece: well this day didn’t go as expected. I accidentally sliced my thumb while fixing breakfast. I tried to spin a wee bit on Magpie which didn’t work out as the bandaid made it difficult to draft. I spun at least a gram on my Juniper Phoenix and then spent the rest of the day making rolags. So um... yea I fell off the Tour de Fleece wagon quite harshly. On July 13th we lost Petrie one of our Sugar Gliders and are currently trying to help our last glider left Teemo who is suffering from the same unknown toxin. He’s currently on medication and we are hoping for test results that will give us a better idea of what the source might be. . . On Friday I got an extraordinary treasure box from @longdrawjames. This box was jam packed full of the most beautiful fibers. The top three dyed bumps are Pima cotton dyed by James. The two braids on the left are Wensleydale combed top from his flock. The fiber to the right of that is Qiviut!!!!!! Below that the cinnamon color fiber is Vicuña! 😍 at the very bottom is part of a washed Wensleydale lamb fleece also from his flock. Those precious curls!!!!!
