Lucas is admiring the hand wound ball of Merino. When I weighed the skein it was 9.8 oz and now mysteriously it only weighs 9.7... it makes me wonder if Lucas stole some for his web nest. Jumping spiders use their silk for their bungee jumping as well as for a protective nest they hunker down in while resting or when molting.
