On Friday a wonderful new Jenkins Turkish Spindle flew into my flock. Ed created another incredible style to add to his wonderful line up of Turkish Spindles. The largest spindle shown the Phoenix is what arrived. It is Ed’s largest spindle, modeled after the Egret but with a wider wingspan which can allow for even more plying capacity. I’m not a spindle plyer however I loved the Egret for fine spinning and had a strong feeling I’d love the Phoenix for fine spinning as well. Other Jenkins depicted are the Swan(heaviest style), Egret(former widest wingspan), and Bee Hummingbird(smallest). #handspunstagram #spinstagram #igspinners #spinnersofinstagram #handspun #handspunyarn #fiberfeature #wemakeyarn #jenkinsturkishspindle #turkishspindle
