To help get a better grasp of size and complexity of the @akerworks Super Skeiner here it is next to the AkerKate and Butterfly Kate. It makes the AkerKate look like a SimpleKate! Adan said it really makes the AkerKate seem pretty simple in comparison. It truly is a gorgeous tool! All three tools pictured here are made of American Black Cherry. It’s so fascinating how Cherry wood darkens with age. The AkerKate and Butterfly Kate used to be this light. The AkerKate is about 3.5 years old and aging beautifully.
