This spindle makes me so happy! I thought I had missed out on getting one of @carry.cherry’s Ladybug Turkish. It’s such a fitting design for me with my love for bugs especially ladybugs. I’ve been talking with Galina about her spindles and how she uses beeswax from her family’s bees. I had purchased one of her Bee themed spindles a few weeks ago and it’s on its journey across the world to me. I love that purchasing that spindle help support bees local to her. I just recently I purchased this Ladybug one from her via @thewooleryshop which had much less distance to travel. I also picked up this gorgeous Sunshiny Day braid from @threewatersfarm out of Merino/Silk that will be the inaugural spin for my very first spindles from Galina.
